Rethinking Positive Thinking: Inside The New Science Of Motivation

June 16, 2020 Saskia Rysenbry
Rethinking Positive Thinking

Gabriele Oettingen’s great book ‘Rethinking Positive Thinking: Inside The New Science Of Motivation’ is a great look at why just ‘thinking positively’ isn’t all that it’s talked up to be. Gabriele’s research shows us that in order to make progress we must identify our goal, identify the outcome of our goal and then most importantly rub it up against reality and identify what obstacle ‘within us’ is most likely to stop us from reaching our goal. Once we have done that we can develop a plan to ensure success. I highly recommend it.
